Community led climate action with Planet Cheltenham

  • CoLab Dudley 201A High Street Dudley, England, DY1 1QQ United Kingdom (map)

Planet Cheltenham began when a small group of people from different backgrounds in Cheltenham realised they shared concerns about the climate crisis. Now they deliver and have developed a number of community based activities and solutions to help raise awareness of the dangers of climate change and offer locally based answers to challenging issues. These include:

  • A Youth Climate Group

  • A Library of Things

  • A Climate Changemakers project

  • Energy saving events

  • A Doughnut Economics Peer Learning Journey

Members of the team behind Dudley People's School for Climate Justice have been encouraged and inspired by and learned from Planet Cheltenham. We invite you to do the same in a lunchtime conversation about community led climate action with Raechel Kelly, one of the founders of Planet Cheltenham.
