Reclaiming Our Roots

Ekho Collective are offering a series of open invitation 'drop in' sessions to encourage nature connection within our green space for members of the local community, including those who may have experienced loss of ancestral lands or traditional ways of working with plants to support wellbeing.

Participants will be invited to gather outdoors and enjoy communal food and creative activities along with harvesting and preparing traditional herbal remedies. This will be a fully inclusive, safe space to share and celebrate our own heritage and stories of how we work with the land.

This project will be led by Time Rebel Deb and supported by Clare and Amaia.

HOW YOU CAN TAKE PART

Workshops will take place from August through to November 2023 at Hawbush Community Gardens, within Ekho’s Sensory and Therapeutic Space in Brierley Hill. A full list of dates and invitations will be available soon. The first session will be on Sunday 13th August 1- 4 pm.
